Really usable djent (rhythm) tone for Yamaha Revstar guitars

If you are looking for a quick way to get a cool djent rhythm tone FREE preset (using Archetype Misha Mansoor X plugin) then you are at the right place.

This guitar tone preset is great using my Yamaha Revstar 820 CR guitar.

Why good for my guitar?

Because the humbucker pickups are sort of average output for something like DJENT or metal in general. The Yamaha RS was made for genres with blues, jazz, rock or country not progressive metal or djent.

Here are the pickup outputs as per a Google search:

• Neck Pickup (VH5n+): 8.3 kOhms

• Bridge Pickup (VH5b+): 8.8 kOhms

Therefore we need to tweak a little bit the gain - increase it!

I lowered the output dBs to decrease the harhness of high gain to avoid hearing damage or headaches in particular.

And that's basically it for now.

Remember, I share this FREE Neural DSP preset for everyone knowing that not everyone's guitar has 12.0+ kOhms humbucker pickups or similar ones like Misha Mansoor or Mark Holcomb themselves.

We need to tweak it a little - increase gain, etc.

So, my friend, if you have a mid-output-pickups guitar, then this preset will work wonders!
